When I build with last version of Pushwoosh framework (with xCode 5.1.1), I have this error when building the target.

ld: framework not found Metal for architecture armv7 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Any idea?

Hey Varnava, could you try the same with the latest Pushwoosh Unity plugin and the latest Xcode?

Hello roazhen,

You need to go back to a previous version of plugin (commit 42c40cec https://github.com/Pushwoosh/pushwoosh-phonegap-3.0-plugin) And you have to add manually the plugin. It's fixed for me.

I have the same issue, but building with XCode 6 for iOS 7. How do I use cordova to go back to a previous version of the plugin?

http://cordova.apache.org/news/2013/10/21/cordova-registry.html says to do

cordova plugin add [PLUGIN_ID]@[VERSION]

but

cordova plugin add https://github.com/Pushwoosh/pushwoosh-phonegap-3.0-plugin.git@3.2.0

doesn't work.

Is there another way I can use a previous version of PushWoosh?

Why should PushWoosh introduce a dependency on the Metal framework, which is only relevant to iOS 8, in an iOS 7 build? This breaks iOS 7 builds.

I ended up having to roll back my codebase to the previous plugin commit as cordova seems to copy specific files with a resulting different directory structure than PushWoosh uses. I now have to use version 3.2.0 for iOS 7 builds and 3.3.0 for iOS 8 builds. I've opened a support ticket with PushWoosh and they're looking into this.
