I'm using the Android Native SDK. As suggested here, I've added a pw_notification.png drawable to use as the notification icon, which works just fine.

Attaching a custom "Icon" to a Push leads to the following behavior:

  • On Android 5, the custom Push Icon will be displayed large with a small version of the pw_notification.png on top. Great!
  • On Android 4, only the pw_notification.png will be displayed large, the custom Push Icon is nowhere to be seen. I was expecting the custom Push Icon to be displayed. Is this a bug?

Never mind, it seems to be working as expected on Android 4 now.

Maybe I can reproduce the wrong behavior I was getting earlier, but it might just be an error on my end :)
