I was wondering if the pushwoosh notifications will still be sent to the client if they have opted out of push notifications at the device level. For example, iOS prompts users to allow push notifications for the app when it starts up the first time. If they say no, does the device block the push notifications? Or do they still arrive, pushwoosh just handles them differently?

I was hoping to use pushes to send private message data to clients, but if it is blocked if they opt out of push notifications obviously that's not going to work.

Thanks.

Hi!

If the user has turned off the notifications for your application then there is nothing we can do. The notifications are not getting sent to that device.
