Hi All. Talking about only Android devices, what is the exact meaning of "Success" in the title report (Push History). Does it means that PW service was able to deliver the message to google messaging infrastructure, or that google confirmed that the message was delivered to the device?

We are new to PW and one of our problem with the first App developed with PW notifications service is that every notification we send , the "success" number is almost never accurate, and a not negligible numbers of "success" notifications are not really delivered to the users (on Android devices perfectly enabled to receive those messages).

Thanks for your help!

Hi!

Does it means that PW service was able to deliver the message to google messaging infrastructure, or that google confirmed that the message was delivered to the device?

It means that the message was successfully delivered to the gateway (GCM). After that there are no guarantees of the delivery to the actual user, because GCM can't guarantee that as well.

a not negligible numbers of "success" notifications are not really delivered to the users

As I've mentioned above, the "Success" response means that we've delivered the message to the gateway. After that it's GCM who are responsible for the further delivery.
