I just started using pushwoosh and downloaded this sample app. https://github.com/Pushwoosh/phonegap-build-sample-app

I am able to send notifications to the device when the app is running (also when app is running in the background but not closed)

I want to be able to send notifications regardless if the app is running. How would I make that happen?

The latest version of the plugin survives a reboot. There's no need to open the app at all after rebooting, PNs will be delivered. :-)

Actually, this is a common behaviour for all Webview-based apps - push notification service is initialized within it, so it requires an application to be running, otherwise the app will never know that a push has come. You can only receive pushes while your app is closed with a native app, and we can do nothing about it.
