How come I can sent a push notification message to any device I add to “Test Devices” while I can’t through your API unless I register and provide the Hardware Id (hwid)?

Is there a way to avoid providing the “hwid” while registering a device??

Please note that if you add the token of the device to the "Test Devices" section, that means the device was already registered and the HWID was provided during the /registerDevice method when the app was opened for the first time.

The HWID is the important part of the unique pair HWID-token that's required to successfully receive push notifications for the device.

Could you please specify why you'd like to avoid providing the HWID?

I compare it to other push services, that only require providing the token, which also means less traffic hit on my servers
