Have seen other threads, but still not able to get custom sound for iOS working for phonegap build.

Everything else is working, except custom notification sound for iOS.

Has anyone been able to get it working?

Note:

  • Tried placing myfile.wav in www/res/ also tried in www/res/raw
  • File is 29 seconds and in wav format.
  • Tried sending with API

pwCall('createMessage', array( 'application' => '', 'auth' => '', 'notifications' => array( array( 'send_date' => 'now', 'content' => '6:52 PM', 'filter' => 'My Filter', 'ios_sound' => 'myfile.wav', 'platforms' => [1], 'ios_ttl' => 3600 ) ) ) );

  • Also tried sending through pushwoosh dashboard. Nothing is working ...

Hello!

Actually you should put your wav file in /www/res folder and use its name via API as a value of "ios_sound" in /createMessage request, but without '.wav' extension.

Please let me know did you tried it this way already or not?

Regards, Nikita
