Hello Community,

we plan to use rich media pages for android after a push notification to support conversion in an upselling funnel.

As I understood so far rich media is e.g. a full-size ad placed over the App after the user clicked on the push notification.

I just tested one default pushwoosh rich media page together with a triggered push. What did I observest:

  • it needs a quiet long time to load the richt media page
  • there is no close button beside the CTA at the buttom
  • if I close the rich media page with the "home" Button I come to the previous page from where I opened the Push. When I start the related App the rich media page is still displayed.

It would be very helpful if some of you could share experiences you already made with rich media.

Best regards Joachim

Hi!

May I ask you whether you are having any concerns regarding Rich Media? Any questions or issues showed up?

Please note that your developers can create a unique Rich Media Template by looking at the syntax in the guide below:

Also, templates could easily be created using MailChimp:

Hello Nikolai,

I could test the rich media feature succesful with iOS. We already created a draft for an own rich media page.

So far so good. But when it comes to android the rich media page needs too long to show up or do not show up at all. Additionally the rich media pages comes with no close (X) button on android.

I tested in on a Samsung S5 mini with an standard rich media template from pushwoosh and our own programmed page.

Because we want to use it mainly on Android the positive test on iOS is good but not really helps for our use case.

Best regards Joachim

Thank you for pointing it out!

I've passed this information to our developers and they will investigate the report.

Please stay tuned!
