Hi,

This is probably a dumb question but we can't find the answer on this site or the Apple site.

Our Push certificates expire Nov 10th 2016. We need to generate new ones. If we generate a new push certificate using the PushWoosh auto generation facility, do we need to generate a new version of our app?

We don't think so but it would be good to find out.

Basically we expect the new IOS push certificates to simply work with the existing version of our app.

have we read this right?

Thanks

Rob

Hello,

Please refer to Pushwoosh iOS configuration guide by following the link provided below:

http://docs.pushwoosh.com/docs/apns-configuration#52-auto-configuration-available-for-developer-acco

Please note that during Auto Configuration you generate a new APNs certificate for the specified Apple App ID. Therefore an existing APNs Certificate for this Apple App ID, if any, will be revoked.

Also, I kindly ask you to note that there is no no need to update your application due to the certificate renewal.

Regards, Nikita.
