Plugin: pushwoosh-pgb-plugin V: 6.2.3 Phonegapbuild: cli-6.3.0

Call un-register, runs with success Call register - nothing happens.

Any thoughts? This is driving me nuts and I've got a very unhappy client.

Would this happen if a user deletes an app off of their phone and then reinstalls it?

@jamesdouglas

Sorry for not reaching back to you for so long, our engineers were trying to deal with the issue. It looks like we hit a bug in iOS 10 itself. Please refer to the following threads for more information:

https://github.com/Pushwoosh/pushwoosh-unity/issues/18#issuecomment-255362579

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/37950399/registerusernotificationsettings-not-work-after-using-unregisterforremotenotific/

Please note that Apple itself does not recommend calling /unregister method at all: https://developer.apple.com/reference/uikit/uiapplication/1623093-unregisterforremotenotifications?language=objc

If you need to be able to unsubscribe users from push notifications, would it be possible for you to just create boolean Tag in Pushwoosh - "pushes enabled" and set it accordingly?

You can find more about tags and filters in our Guide:

http://docs.pushwoosh.com/docs/segmentation-tags-and-filters

@TomF no, it happens only if you call /register /unregister methods one right after another. If a user deletes the app and then reinstalls it the issue should not arise.
