I don't want to handle push notification inside the Activity when app is open. So I want the same behavior like when app is closed: show notification and process users tap event.

How should I do this?

I found this issue: https://github.com/Pushwoosh/pushwoosh-android-sdk/issues/23#issuecomment-155067419 And, yes, I want to keep notification.

  1. Stop using PushFragment for initialization and start using PushManager.onStartup.
  2. Do not declare any broadcast receivers in Activity class.
