Hi, How do I configure push notification in Android, If I want to show notification on status bar when the app is already opened? My current situation is when I already opened the app and receiving push notification, there is no push notification icon on my status bar.

Thank you.

add the following string to your AndroidManifest.xml(solution from Pushwoosh team) :

    <meta-data android:name="PW__NO_BROADCAST_PUSH" android:value="“false”">

in case it doesn't work, it is necessary to create your own receiver for push notifications received in foreground as per instructions below: http://docs.pushwoosh.com/docs/androidmanifestxml-modifications#using-custom-push-broadcast-receiver-in-android

btw: I saw your answer in my post, later I found it was gone. Did you remove it? https://community.pushwoosh.com/questions/4160/androiddoesnt-show-notification-when-the-app-is-running-in-foreground
