I'm evaluating Pushwoosh's createMessage REST API.

I have a concern about response time of the API. I measured the time through the way explained in http://stackoverflow.com/a/22625150/3591946 and I got the following:

$ curl -w "@curl-format.txt" -o /dev/null -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X POST -d '{"request": {"application": "xxx","auth": "xxx", "notifications": [{"send_date": "now", "ignore_user_timezone": true,"content": "Hello world!"}]}}' https://cp.pushwoosh.com/json/1.3/createMessage
  % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
                                 Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
100   327    0    92  100   235     30     77  0:00:03  0:00:03 --:--:--    77
    time_namelookup:  1.537
       time_connect:  1.818
    time_appconnect:  2.748
   time_pretransfer:  2.748
      time_redirect:  0.000
 time_starttransfer:  3.048
         time_total:  3.048

It took over 3 seconds for a request, it's quite a few. Is it because of my account is trial one? Or, is it the same to production one? If so, are there any way to improve its performance?
