We successfully integrated a native app for ios to send and receive push notification with data payload.

now that we are doing it with android, our developer is saying that the data he received is in the following format:

{"appointment":"{\"notificationCode\": \"supplierConfirmed\",\"appointmentId\": 61}"}

is this how its supposed to arrive. he claims he can not parse this in android, but i dont see anything wrong in our setup because its the same way we send data from our php server.

can someone help and confirm if receiving the data like that is ok?

our application id is 178A5-AEF27

Basically, the payload looks OK, however it is quite hard to judge without knowing the initial request. I would recommend you to contact our Support Team with more detailed description of the issue.
