I have implemented the android cardova plugin using this: http://www.pushwoosh.com/programming-push-notification/android/android-additional-platforms/phonegapcordova-sdk-integration/

When I send a notification I am only seeing the app name and icon but not the notification title or message. Any idea what I am doing wrong.

This is my code:

function initPushwoosh() {

console.log("push woosh called!!!"); var pushNotification = window.plugins.pushNotification; pushNotification.onDeviceReady();

pushNotification.registerDevice({ projectid: "some_other_id", appid : "some_id" },
    function(status) {
        var pushToken = status;
        console.warn('push token: ' + pushToken);
    },
    function(status) {
        console.warn(JSON.stringify(['failed to register ', status]));
    }
);

document.addEventListener('push-notification', function(event) {
    var title = event.notification.title;
    var userData = event.notification.userdata;

        if(typeof(userData) != "undefined") {
        console.warn('user data: ' + JSON.stringify(userData));
    }

    navigator.notification.alert(title);
});

}

It turned out that I found the problem. I blundered when in setup I chose PhoneGap Build (Generic) instead of Pushwoosh for the Android SDK. The problem is now fixed.

It could be that you haven't set in Control Panel the SDK you are using in your application.

Please see the screenshot attached:
