Hi,

My goal is to have a silent push wake a manually killed app in the background and run some methods in the background. It looks like this was made possible by pushKit from iOS 8.

Has pushwoosh configured this for cordova? Or is it some other way to do this?

Thanks

Hello,

VoIP pushes could wake up the application and allows the app to execute code before displaying the notification to the user.

You can find more detailed information in our Guide:

http://docs.pushwoosh.com/docs/voip-pushes

Please note that you cannot utilize default and VoIP pushes at the same time.

Regards, Ivan
