I am trying to get the device token for my computer (Mac) so that I can perform test web push notifications on Google Chrome (or other browsers). I only saw tutorials for Android and iOS. How do I achieve this for the browser?

Hi,

Could you please let us know if you have integrated Pushwoosh Web SDK into your site?

You can just locate the token by going to View - Developer Tools - Console. Your Token should appear at the top of the page or below, in /registerDevice request. Please refer to this example:

Also, if you have not integrated SDK through the npm, you can use Pushwoosh.getPushToken() method in your Console in order to retrieve the token.

  1. right-click on your page, select inspect
  2. go to console section
  3. initiate Pushwoosh.getPushToken()

Please let me know about the results!

Regards, Ivan
