For Android Oreo, PushWoosh seems to accept setting NAME of notification channel, not ID. Therefore it will create another channel even if a channel with same name already exists. I'm trying to migrate from another push notification service to PushWoosh so I need to use existing notification category.

Can we specify ID of notification channel instead of name? If it is not supported now, it would be better to support it.

Hello,

Actually, in order to come with the solution, may I ask you to submit a ticket to our Support System? (https://www.pushwoosh.com/contact-us/)

It would be helpful if you describe the use case in more details in this ticket.

Which push notification provider you are currently utilizing?

Maybe you could provide us with the sample of your userbase?

Regards, Ivan
