We want to notify individual users when they got news in-game.

Currently, each client sets a Tag "UID" with a (unique) player-name. In createMessage, I use a condition that matches exactly this single user.

Is this the best way to do this?

Hello,

Tags are certainly the best way to target your users. Have you seen our Advanced Tags guide? Please note that aside from the "conditions" section in the createMessage, you can use the createTargetedMessage method, which is a powerful instrument of segmenting your userbase.

However, in case of individual pushes, both of them would do just fine.
