I am setting the push notification callback as: document.addEventListener('push-notification', function(event) { ..... However, the callback is never executed.

Instead, I get a dialog that is executed, but unwanted, in which the message appears with an OK/Cancel option. As the callback never fires, I am unable to use the notification text and act on it while the application is running.
