With Safari Push, we have included a URL template in the original PushPackage that is getting requested when the user registers for notifications.

We need to UPDATE that URL with a different template. How can we go about changing the URL template?

The URL template can be updated in the Safari configuration section of the application in your Pushwoosh Control Panel.

However, please note that your existing users (those, that have already subscribed to receive push notification from your website) will still have the old push package with the old URL Template.

Unfortunately, the problem is that push package is downloaded only once, right after a users agrees to receive push notification from your website, and currently there's no way to force update the old push package stored locally on user's Macs with an updated one. Thus, your existing users have to unsubscribe from pushes first (Safari Preferences > Notifications), so next time they visit your website they will be asked to allow pushes again.
